I understand from a more reliable source than David Craigs that Newcastle are not accepting offers at the current level unless Carroll himself says he wants to leave, and he has said he doesnt...so BBC reports that he is keen appear to be off the mark, or he himself is being coy in what he tells people. Obviously that may change if the offer increases or he does want to leave and caves in!
