Its pretty good not brilliant but it doesn't mean he is god. Everyone talks about him as if he's Jose Mourinho and I'm not sure he'll get anything more from the existing squad. There is plenty of better managers out there, maybe not many without a job but certainly ones we should be able to attract
Your right Forssell is plenty of strikers and no your right I never used the word prolific because I don't see him as that kind of striker....and funnilly enough he is a player that I still think necessarry for the squad seeings that we are lacking in strikers at the moment. I'd prefer a better striker and in hindsight wouldn't have signed him. And im right as well 4 CAPABLE strikers is what you want for 2 positions I'd probably prefer McCarthy over Warnock, Warnock struggles to deal with big name players despite people saying how strong a character he is. For example, Taraabt and Barton

His history of getting so many teams performing and promoted is surely unparalleled in the lower leagues and I don't think there's a better candidate to be found anywhere. McCarthy wouldn't disappoint me, but we could do better by bringing in Warnock who has an even better track record. I'd like you to name these better managers who'd happily come here and work for Bates. 1. We don't have any 'big name' players who have character issues. 2. Is McCarthy any better in that respect? 3. The likes of McCarthy, Lee Clark, Gus Poyet, Nigel Adkins, Paul Lambert)). There is a decent sized list of managers that i could think of that we should be able to attract that I'd prefer to Warnock, Warnock is just an arsehole 1. No we don't to some extent at all but doesn't mean that Warnock doesn't have issues with it and makes you question just how strong a character he is. Personally I woulda stopped playing Taraabt all together and I certainly wouldn't have made Barton captain 2. Yes I think he is 3. He won the champions league with Porto of all clubs. I saw that Porto team working and admittedly they had spent considerably more than us but no where near as much as the likes of the Scum, Chelsea, Barcelona, Real Madrid and so on. His teams work hard and they are organised and there defending is the best organised defending I have ever seen. I have full confidence that Mourinho would easily be able to get the current Leeds United team promoted in his first full season. Obviously theres no way to prove this though

Doubt that very much, he's one of those managers who needs millions to to win trophies, i'd like to see how he would get on at a lower league club with no money to spend
