Swindon 1990. Beat Sunderland in the play off final. It came out they had financial irregularities and we went up instead. Only the mags man hahahahahahahaha
I used to have quite a bit of time for West Ham as a club. Played good football, or always tried to, brought on numerous top players, etc. Firstly their fan base turned to ****e, and once those two tossers took the place over it was going downhill all the way.
I took my son when my team were in the premiership. We intended to fly up and back on the same day, then bloody sky changed the kick off until 5.30pm, which meant that we missed the last flight home. Stayed overnight in a hotel just by the airport and flew home the next day. Probably my best "away day" as was able to spend some real quality time with my son.
Who do you support then mate? Depending on what weekend it lands on I'll fly up Friday n back Sunday... sky will probably move it to Monday night
Oh :/ Any luck with getting Roland & Meire(?) out yet? ****ing horrendous what's happened down there.
I don't think he's going anywhere soon, rumours are that he wants £75m to sell. Who the hell going to pay that for a L1 club? The problem is every penny he sticks in, is a loan from his parent company and he charges 3% interest on it. With the drop in attendances etc. this debt to him is only going to go up. Therefore he will probably want £85m this time next year!! I'm led to believe that Meire is pregnant, so maybe a new / interim CEO might be on the cards. Could be worse, at least he still paying the bills, which is more than the fellow that owns Orient is!!
Normality is resuming... Seems Marseille are the main focus of the invesigation (not Chelsea, Toon or West Ham). Charnley released without charge and without being questioned. There's legs to this story still I feel though. Oh and just seen the Mackems are losing again.... Like I say... normality is resuming.... Hope they can pull a win out of the bag for my insurance acca....
