I'd say not, Huddlestone is showing signs of getting his act together but I'd sooner have Livermore working to help Diame provide the attacking midfield threat. A half-fit Diame is a better option than Huddlestone for me as he can pop up with a goal from midfield, I'd even go with the technically inferior Meyler over Huddlestone for the same reason

Agreed. ^^^^^ this imo. Mo needs a rest now as he has hit a brick wall.

    A 3 - 5 - 2 with Maguire between Davies and Dawson for me.

Experience in midfield a plenty and maybe Clucas at left wing back as Robertson also looked leggy last week.

Elmo still not upto speed for me so Odubajo should start and the front 2 of Hernandez and Akpom a given.

    I hope to see start : -

    McGregor

    Dawson(c) Maguire Davies

    Odubajo Huddlestone Livermore Clucas

    Maloney

    Akpom Hernandez

    subs:- Jakupovic - Robertson - Meyler - Diame - Elmohamady - Hayden - Aluko

Gives us a very strong bench.

Forest not that impressive of late. imo. Dare I say they are the weakest they have been in the last few games @ the City ground.

Remember when we signed the best crossing right back in the division and played him on the left? Let's not get back to that, please.

I'd have thought SB might've taken a little look at Townsend's progress while he was watching Maguire.

I really hope that we draw a non-league or league 2 club so that SB can give a game to some of the top performing U21's again. Shame that Greg Luer picked up that injury last week.

I admit I only saw half of the first half as our match kicked off at 8 on the astroturf, but he didn't look very good. He always wanted the ball, which was good to see, but he made a fair amount of mistakes. Maguire looked decent. There was a scout watching their striker, both the black guys on their team looked really good.

They did didnt they. Bit of flair about them.
I liked their CF he was a niggly ****er.
There was a scout from Newcastle and one from Liverpool. Seen the pool one there a few times.

I agree Hernandez is getting better, cant fault is effort, Akpom likes the ball to his feet to run at defences sometimes doing to much how ever I think Akpom will only get us half a dozen goals a season at most, he's a young lad learning the game but at this moment in time I don't feel he's a natural goal scorer.
