I should imagine that it is disappointing for supporters that the friendlies did not include a match or two featuring premiership teams. Surely at least one of our neighbours in that division would have obliged?

Totally agree however most Premier sides think that a friendly against some Chinese side in Beijing is a more lucrative than playing somebody from down the leagues.

A fairly strong rumour that one David Healy is playing at Plymouth for us tonight. Interesting move if it comes off, will he be forgiven for the over the top celebration after scoring twice against us at Deepdale two weeks after we sold him.
Hume training with a league club.

You already played one of the very biggest clubs in the country mate, don't push your luck.

Welcome Jerel. A big club? I know AFC Wimbledon have an ambition to return to Merton but that does not qualify them as a big club! Good luck Next season.

Oh noooooo! Not David Journeyman Healy. Maybe it could be arranged for him to play in a green shirt & orange sash in every game.

A single goal win over the Pilgrims but how much have we progressed in the last few weeks. Personally feel we will be very hard to beat in the league, expect a lot of games decided by the single goal, a forward is badly needed although Sodje scored last night do not think he is the answer to our problems. But that is up to GW to answer.
Another two keepers were used Stuart Tomlinson ex Port Vale and Neil Ethridge from Fulham, also Sky were reporting we were going to sign Steve Simonsen.
The phoney war is over the action begins on Monday
