I should imagine that it is disappointing for supporters that the friendlies did not include a match or two featuring premiership teams. Surely at least one of our neighbours in that division would have obliged?

Totally agree however most Premier sides think that a friendly against some Chinese side in Beijing is a more lucrative than playing somebody from down the leagues.

A single goal win over the Pilgrims but how much have we progressed in the last few weeks. Personally feel we will be very hard to beat in the league, expect a lot of games decided by the single goal, a forward is badly needed although Sodje scored last night do not think he is the answer to our problems.
