****.............still a points a point, I thought we'd lose, but after listening to the commentary WE WAS ROBBED
Two games against the millionaires next week, we'll know a lot more about our team after those games. Can't wait.

I have just got back from Blackpool via Old Trafford. I dont think those stats do us justice. I went up thinking I'd be happy with a point but left the ground gutted. That was the best I have seen us play for a long time. Every City fan I spoke to seemed to agree. Fantastic performance and effort from the boys. Difficult one as I dont think Earnie would enable us to play that way and the effort of Miller who actually popped up as fullback a couple of times was superb but i cant help thinking he would have taken one of those chances.
Thanks Statto, nice to hear from someone who was actually there, I think it's great to have a manager not afraid to play different formations instead of same old, workrate of the players seems immense but I feel unless we get a couple more players in that workrate is going to drop off later in the season.
Happy to oblige, after my first away match since we won the old fourth division (I think) title up at Scunthorpe about 20 years ago! From what I have seen I dont think we need to worry that the work rate will fall away. I think it may be getting stronger as the players are bedding in and fighting for one another. I am still worried that we dont seem to have that extra bit of flair to break teams down. Most of the time I think what we did Saturday will serve us well away from home and more often than not that would have been a win. However teams will soon get to know what to expect from us (if they dont already) and we will have to keep evolving.
Well done Malky! Midfield packed. Not necessarily a negative tactic. When you see the stats that backs that up.
