Although it probably marked the beginning of the end of an era and the break up of a special Saints team, this was a very proud moment for the club and richly deserved by the five of them and showed just how far the team had gone in a few short years. The triumvirate of SRL, Adam and JRod was something really special in that bold Poch team of 2013/14... Morgan also got called up by France and Jose by Portugal later that year.
They played Stay Close To Me at the Coronation Concert….reminded me how they played that song at St Mary’s as a photo of Markus was shown on the big screen at the first match after the takeover.
