It's clear where our weaknesses are, It will be a long season - My thoughts on the Huddersfield game

It'll all come good when Mitro is back as currently we have no way of getting the ball up the field and then getting beyond it once it's there. We turn around and play backwards. Mitro can hold the ball up and let the three behind him get up inline with him and look in behind.

The only place for Perez at the moment is left wing in place of Anita. He's been awful through the middle and we need to try Diame there for a while. More important than who plays in CM is telling whoever is selected that they need to be told to drive the play forward; they need to make runs with the ball at their feet and break the lines. Our forward play will be completely different if we start doing this.

 

Lascelles needs to wake up. He's become cocky since he was given the armband. All three goals conceded this season are his fault.

 

Anyone else thinking janmaat at rw and Anita at rb wuda been way more successful?

 

Anita was different class at RB towards the end of last season. Funnily enough, we were a better side without Janmaat full stop.

 

Given that I don't think Janmaat has once even tried to go past the LB in both games when he could have taken him on, I'd be reluctant to put him in midfield. Try Janmaat at LB and Anita RB in the next game.
