Completely agree, and I'm a Saints fan. Anyhow, Poch is....well....I think he'd be mad to leave you now, but - http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...uld-be-dream-to-join-paris-club-a7002461.html
Yeah I saw a few people on Twitter mentioning him and the PSG job, I know he played for them back in the day so it's completely understandable he'd like to manage them and I wouldn't begrudge him if he left us to go there, just hopefully he does so in about 10-15 years
PSG's a good retirement job. Less work than being an international manager as they only play 10 competitive matches in the CL in their worst year.
Ligue 1 is a joke though and he knows it. They walked the league by about 2 dozen points. Pochettino seems to thrive on pressure and competition, and there is none of that at PSG.
I know you want some last day excitement as a neutral, LDL. But the basic premise was always to get to the final game with fate in our own hands. Assuming we get what you want, Spurs will still be relying on Chelsky. And based on : - what their ultra-professional players have been saying the past few days - this meaning Spurs will have won at the Fridge (a PL first) Leicester are guaranteed an opposition that will make that Germany/Austria WC game look like a dogfight.
If CK was Ace Face he would have threatened to kill him by now and also told us of how to get rid of the body efficiently.
A little light reading... https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...ans-verdict-2015-16-arsenal-manchester-united https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...5-16-fans-verdicts-parts-2-newcastle-west-ham
It still comes down to transfer fees, wages, and greater likelihood of silverware. So there are still a few clubs who can take any Spurs targets if they so desire. I am hoping that the list of "right players" includes a few Edgar Davids types who fancy the opportunity of adding the experience that Spurs obviously need.
Doesn't strike me as a player who calms an MF, or rallies players to the cause in games like the Chelsky one.
