Where i went to school £893 was considered higher than £650 so to that extent it is a FACT that ours are higher.

The inclusion of UP TO 7 CL/FA Cup games is of doubtful value to a lot of fans as not all can make evening games and cup replays.

I would rather have a lower ST price and choose to pay for cup games if i can make it rather than paying up front for something i am often unable to use.

Hence why I said, read the thread.

Our season ticket price is for 26 games (if not all these are used then they get refunded the following season). Spurs is for 19 games. Therefore it is not a like-for-like comparison.

Our cheapest tickets are cheaper than Spurs and Chelsea.

Not disputing the fact that our highest ticket prices are higher than anyone elses, just that our cheapest tickets are cheaper than our rivals.

Anyway, **** it, it's supply and demand and at the moment we have the demand (although that appears to be diminishing).

Whether you think the value is doubtful or not an Arsenal ST holder pays for 26 games whilst ST holders of other clubs only pay for 19.You cannot compare prices when one ST allows you to attend 26 whilst the other only allows you to attend 19.I Forget about ST prices but i still stand by my argument that the majority of our ticket prices for the majority of our games are comparable to most teams in the PL

Being so many people are posting links to websites to prove their point on ticket prices i thought i'd do my own investigating.
The cheapest ticket prices at Anfield are £39 for a category C game and £42 for a category B game

So in addition to higher ST prices, we are expected to make an interest free loan for any Cup matches we can't attend.

Gazidis may make a statement next saying what a privilege this would be for fans to be able to do that!!!

Then Arsene would chip in talking about the team spirit and belief extending to the loyal fans who invest in the club that way. He would slip his famous word ' overall ' in somewhere of course <laugh>

Cym's grandson wasn't brainwashed. When he was born, instead of crying he was actually singing 'she wore a yellow ribbbon'
    FACT <ok>

I have been an Arsenal fan even longer than you Cym, so no need for barbed comments like that.

If ST holders can't get to Cup games which are mainly evenings (CL/FA cup replays) that is in effect giving the club an interest free loan until the rebate is made i.e the following year.

If charging for Cup games in with the ST price is such a good idea, how come other clubs don't do it?

It also may explain why attendances are lower for CL group stage home games (than PL games).

If ST holders can't use them why buy one in the first place.Surely ST holders know the conditions before they buy one.If people can't attend games surely it would be better to buy tickets on a game by game basis. It would be pointless me buying a ST so i wouldn't buy one.

Most ST holders buy them for League games and of course know the conditions BUT at all other clubs you can chose wether or not to pay for Cup games.

It will be interesting to see what happens next season when we are not in the Champions League.
