Another reprise for the man. Seven years ago today, this happened ....

And one of my most favourite quotes; "There's a tidal wave on The Thames. Hamburg will host the final, Fulham will play in it ".

 

Obviously, I have to recognise the signing of Zoltan Gera.
To call him a legend might be a bit of hyperbole, but the guy was utterly committed to the Fulham cause.

Would love to see him visit - Gera! Gera! Gera!

 

No hyperbole at all, GeraScores. I'd say his part in the Europa League run alone qualifies him as a Fulham legend, even without the general consensus that he's one of the nicest blokes in the game. Without his goals, we'd never have come close to reaching the final. And anyone who naysays his legendary status must have a heart the size of a walnut and a brain to match!
