Great statement made on radio Bristol this morning, I think it was the breakfast show, went something like this and was said after the John Landsdown interview;

One thing you can be sure of with this family, the maths will be right!! <doh> How much in debt has Landsdown let that club get into ;)

I think SL has gradually realised he's flogging a dead horse trying to get the **** to the top table of English football. His rugby club on the other hand have a much more salubrious history and will almost certainly get back in the premier league over the next few seasons. Interestingly the trashton stadium is a separate company not actually owned by the football club so it's a forgone conclusion that they will be more inclined to pander to the Rugby clubs needs in good time. :)
 
I know you are joking, however I disagree, SL is an excellent businessman to have at the helm and supporting either club its just that football finances are a broken model, aside from the changes to revenues vs salaries which we have yet to see the full impact it has on clubs in the future and the differing outcomes.
