Im not really shocked. I dont want to sound negative here but once again I saw more passion from the 11 men on the pitch after the last whistle blew than I saw from them the entire game.

Yep that pissed me off. I don't believe for a second that our players didn't try but they didn't make it hard for them. Their keeper didn't have a save to make after the penalty. We expected it to be hard to break them down but we got the early goal. To throw that away is just appalling.

It was all down to complete lack of a team plan. The team changed by the week and the selection seemed random We played a robust 442 yet we just lobbed three up top without a real winger or width to be seen. And we turn to an unfit player out of position to save us. Idiotic. I'm sure some of the players wondered what they were doing. Sturridge looked lost on the wing.
