Roy doing his utmost to alter my opinion of him.

    Not.

    Boring. Predictable. Pedestrian.

We've been going backwards a long time, but Roy seems to be trying to convince us that we should see it as the peak of our ability, rather than attempt to drive us forward.

The Hodgson Affect - Driving mediocrity down your throat with tedious repetition until ultimate surrender ensues.

At least we still have the best club teams...

    OH NO!

Even though he has been pretty ****ing poor this season, Huddlestone must have been looking at Jones in defensive midfield and thinking 'what the ****?'.

The midfield cupboard is certainly bare. I think Carrick is about as good as we've got in the holding department, tbh.

One radical alternative (probably in Delph's role) would be Will Hughes - but it's probably too soon for him. He hasn't even played in the Premier League yet.

Hodgson has to go for me , we need a more attack minded coach , we are poor at the back not bad in midfield but have plenty of options upfront , the only hope we have is to have a go at teams and woy just doesn't do that .

Why does Pougatch start a sentence at a normal speaking volume, then suddenly START SHOUTING AT A RANDOM POINT.

I don't begrudge Delph his place - he's a step up from Cleverley etc - but he'll always be a decent club player who can do a job. If we want to find a midfielder who might one day reach top international class, we'll have to find him from the younger ranks. It's a risk, for sure, but Hughes might well have that X factor.

To be fair, I just trashed Roy (though an international manager he is not) but how **** is the pool of players we have to pick from?

    I'll answer - very.

You need someone with fresh ideas to perk this lot up, not someone's grandad.

    At least Barkley is on.

He should have started, Woy. You know, with him being the player with the most potential in the squad and all that.

Also, why the **** did you place that Gibbs, you arse?

    Here comes Dross Barkley.

I actually like him but couldn't resist using Dross instead of Ross when describing him.

    Because it's funny.
