I thought Matty Fryatts comments during his RH interview with Burns were quite interesting. If his thoughts are repesentitive of the rest of the dressing room then it would seem that they are pretty pissed off with how NP's reign ended - "NP obviously didn't feel the players were good enough to meet his ambitions". We'll be OK - I think we'll just make the play offs - next 2 games are (as ever) critical - we drop any points and we'll finish 10th ish. Portsmouth 0 - 1 City, City 2 - 0 Coventry. UTT
This thread is a bit rich isnt it http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/105926-Ecstatic It was a massive 3 points for us but i couldnt care less weather we beat you Southampton or Coventry You get 3 points for a win regardless of who your playing We each took 3 points off each other in the league were not far behind you now
Agreed. Fryatt summed it up very well. After 46 games we shall all know who was correct eh ? We have a much better value for money squad and IMO Hobbs and Chester did another great job. After keeping the Saints forwards quiet all night they then kept Nugent and Beckford equally quiet. Shame that Dawson allowed Dyer not only to much room and space but also allowed him to shoot with his left foot. As for Marshalls goal it was a lucky deflection but hey ho it happens. Over the 2 games its One win each, 3 goals each and 3 points each. End of. We both move on to tuesdays games now.
Indeed. For the money you have spent on that squad you are nowhere near as good as that outlay should have brought you. NP has alot of wheelin N dealin to do in the summer (assuming he gets that chance) and he will find it hard to shift alot of the high earners for starters. Good luck though.
Its in the HDM tonight and there was also something in saturdays paper along the same lines. You can hear his interview post match with Burnsie on the BBC listen option on there website. Click onto the Football forum. The Waghorn interview in the matchday programme was also very interesting.
I think the reason we celebrated the way we did was down to how hard the players had to work for the points, 35-40 minutes with ten men against a good Hull side takes real guts and determination. Good luck for the rest of the season
I don't care for Leicester, and I don't care for Nigel Pearson. He showed what a thick classless twat he was in his post match interview on Saturday.
There's no point reasoning with a ****** who says we can't win games, having won a game more than them
