Rob Newman another. Could play virtually anywhere in the XI. Older posters Geoff Merrick? Left back v centre back - Effective at both? It highlights how few move easily between centre back and full back.
All three could chop and change without an apparent problem. I always thought that Merrick was a better full back than centre back although he played much of his career in the latter position.
Some people not happy with Bailey Wright at RB but he’s been picked for the championships team of the week albeit a low score compared to others. Joe Bryan and Diedhiou also picked.
Interesting point made there though, once Pisano is back, assuming Wright starts as he's captain, who do you drop out of Baker and Flint? As much as people love him, for me it's Flint, but I appreciate that might be controversial.
Wilbraham club captain didn’t play many games last season. Elliott before him Carey was club captain for many seasons, but didn’t play many games in later years. In fairness if you’re club captain don’t carry the automatic right to play.
At the beginning of the season ide agree with you, Now I don't think you could drop Flint or Baker , I think they compliment each other and work well together, Captain or not it has to be Bailey Wright sitting on the bench for me , nice problem to have though . Interested to hear others view on this one
I guess he may be hoping that Pisano is back before the Leeds game, then if we win he can argue that Baker has to wait for his chance

Well they won yesterday. But I am surprised he is still in the job. To be honest, I was surprised they took him back on again in the first place.
