...in earnest. All looking good this time, cautiously optimistic but still a striker eludes us, a must if we are to do some damage this season. Exeter seem able to seek out decent strikers so why can't we? Do they come from their youth system?

Might be difficult today with two of our experienced defenders missing....one injured and one suspended for two games I think.

Yeah I was kinda talking about the whole season not just today. Suspensions? Already?? LOL but Plym I have no clue on predictions.

Hi Plym. My lad gave up on Torguay, he got fed up with the constant training and too few matches. It got to the stage we were taking him to football training/matches 4-5 times a week so it was tough for us too but we were willing as long as he was, when it got to the stage that I had to talk him into doing the Torquay stuff we both knew it was time to call a halt to it. Regarding his djm side, he has been approached by two other sides but has decided to stay put - even though two of his mates switched teams. He won the spectator's player of the season last season so he must be doing ok.

Sorry to hear it didn't work-out for your lad....but he gave it a go......disappointing not to get more games....but you stuck at it and made a joint descision to not continue.

Seems like we had over 60% of game according to BBC but lacking that killer punch....only the first game of season which is normally difficult to predict anyway and at least we never got stuffed. Cheers from sunny Malta!
