...in earnest. All looking good this time, cautiously optimistic but still a striker eludes us, a must if we are to do some damage this season. Exeter seem able to seek out decent strikers so why can't we? Do they come from their youth system?
Might be difficult today with two of our experienced defenders missing....one injured and one suspended for two games I think. Nice to hear from you Mrs LaLa.....it's not too late to join the prediction league......go on... do it....Beau will help you with your pin.
Yeah I was kinda talking about the whole season not just today. Suspensions? Already?? LOL but Plym I have no clue on predictions. Good to see this place is lively in my absence.
Hi Mrs LaLa......Blanchard picked up a ban last game of the season........and Branston has been nursing a calf injury most of pre-season. How's your lad progressing this season.....still up the road ?
Hi Plym. My lad gave up on Torguay, he got fed up with the constant training and too few matches. It got to the stage we were taking him to football training/matches 4-5 times a week so it was tough for us too but we were willing as long as he was, when it got to the stage that I had to talk him into doing the Torquay stuff we both knew it was time to call a halt to it. Regarding his djm side, he has been approached by two other sides but has decided to stay put - even though two of his mates switched teams. He won the spectator's player of the season last season so he must be doing ok. I see (or hear) Argyle have lost and Wotton in injured so not a very good start to the season but not as bad as Pompey eh?
Sorry to hear it didn't work-out for your lad....but he gave it a go......disappointing not to get more games....but you stuck at it and made a joint descision to not continue. Tried following the game on BBC....but the system aint working.......I picked up from pasoti that we losted 1-0.
Seems like we had over 60% of game according to BBC but lacking that killer punch....only the first game of season which is normally difficult to predict anyway and at least we never got stuffed. Cheers from sunny Malta!
