Good idea but we should be able to fill the place regardless. It's embarrassing how few fans we have for such a massive catchment area. All the **** excuses always come out but the fact is we don't make an effort to get fans in. The marketing around Hull has been much, much better this season than before, but any benefit will be offset by the PR issues, price hikes and the loss of the 'novelty factor' of being in the PL.
Dynamic ticket pricing is the future, it's an already proven way to substantially increase attendances, you just have to have a load of seats to sell and not piss of the people you're trying to sell them to.
Projected attendances this season are under 20k, based on current ticket sales that appears possible, so where is the logic in the price increase ? I have seen it suggested that the club are actually budgeting on reduced income from ticket sales despite the large price increases
Wonder if the flood light changes are along these lines http://www.edie.net/news/6/Southampton-FC-starts-work-on-first-LED-lit-stadium-in-Europe-/ Good move if they are.
The reason for the new floodlights... please log in to view this image There is no Premier League club called Hull City Tigers.
Think most teams are having them done http://www.safc.com/news/club-news/2014/june/lighting-way-for-new-partnership
