Told you he was guilty. He is an utter ****. A really nasty piece of work. He is well known around Sheffield for his behaviour. I guess the other guy got off because it could be argued that the girl agreed to go home with him and shag him (or something) and that Evans sex was not consensual (or something). Anyway I am glad a footballer has got send down, far too many of them get away with similar behaviour.
I'm probably going to hated for this but hopefully people will see it in the right way. If she was at work the next day then at the very least it appears she may not be too traumatised by it. Some women never recover from rape - the fact that she can't remember anything from that night may actually be a blessing in disguise. Of course I'm not denying how terrible it is, regardless.
Saying she does not remember a thing about it is a lawyers trick, so she cant be cross examined by the defence. The drinks spiking claim is also a load of bollocks. All three were given blood tests- guess which one had illicit substances in the blood stream.
She was out of her tree, could barely walk. They pounced, raped the **** out of her, and some goons filmed it. It's a shame all four of these blokes didn't go down. Evans got what he deserved for being a raping ****. Bye bye Ched, bye bye.
I find it heard to believe that they still put him in the L1 team of the season, even if he did deserve to be in it... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17818137
The vote was in March, it says so in the article. The point is, that regardless of when the votes were actually given, is it right for a player who just got five years for rape to be given an award like this, or should he have been removed from the list?
I agree. Now its down to one. By the time the Blades play next the Wendies could well be 2nd. Its a good battle from the outside looking in. I still think both Sheffield clubs will come up regardless though.
Sorry didnt read the article but had heard the votes were cast in Jan/Feb. I agree with your sentiments and the fact he only got 5 years is a disgrace.
Indeed. These two blokes from Hull that have gone down for 5 years - they were given shorter sentences due to the fact that they were juveniles when the crimes were committed. So how on earth has a 23-year-old received the same sentence?
In this case the victim can't remember the incident. If in the other case the victim can remember and it's led to greater traumatic impact could that lead to them getting a longer sentence (and then the same because they got it shortened due to age)?
One of his dopey team-mates has been suspended now, for calling the girl a slag on Twitter... http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/ched-evans-sheffield-united-suspend-804180
Its worse than that Lambie, Cheds half wit of a girl friend is running a FB campaign to get him off it and is fully standing behind him. You couldnt make this **** up.
