Lee Hughes and Marlon King had no trouble finding clubs and they are loved by the fans of the clubs they are at now. I dont agree with it and when we was linked with Marlon King in the summer people said to the club if we sign him then they will want a refund for their season tickets. Without doubt Ched Evans will find a club when he gets out of jail. He is score a few goals and be loved by the fans at that club but i just hope we never sign anyone like that

This will be overturned on appeal I suspect - I am very surprised he was convicted on the strength of the reported evidence. So - don't rule out him joining us, although my money might be on him being Marlon King's relief!!!!
I hate this story, it's dreadful. The girl was 19, and as I read somewhere she "literally stumbled into their path". That McDonald guy grabbed her, and in a calculating fashion told Evans "I've got one". Cue the raping. Awful. They then had to tell staff at the hotel to keep an eye on her as she was so drunk, spewing, the lot. This was post raping. Evans ****ed off around the back, fully aware of what he'd done. Good riddance. I'm convinced there are a number of footballers who fully believe that they can do whatever they want. I hate them. The sad thing is that he'll serve about 2 years, get out at a decent age and some scumfuck club will give him a contract, and thousands of people will sing his name. The man is a rapist.

cases like this are massively hard to prosecute and then attach the factor that he's a 'name' and they have a habit of being teflon. that suggests to me that the evidence for the prosecution must have been pretty much watertight for them to get a conviction. any thought of the victim fudging this for a few quid is insulting and out of order. glad he got sent down. it's c0ckhappy idiots like him that think they are above it all. he'll be a target and i hope he gets fooked up inside.
I agree. She's saying she can't remember anything and the evidence is coming from other people. You can't really be claiming it for blackmail or to sell your story if other people had to tell you it happened, and you've no memory of the story to sell it. My only issue without having seen more than has been reported is how on earth they found one guilty and the other not guilty when she was already wasted when the first one met her.
not something id usually get into on a message board as people have strong opinions etc, and dont want too rub anybody up the wrong way.. but i find this whole consesnt thing a murky area.. has nobody on here met a bird in town, and both be so pissed out your face, but you end up down an alley or jumping back in a taxi etc and getting down to it, or attempting too anyway, i dont think ive ever got consent off a girl pissed or sober! hope im not opening myself up to a police investigation here , id like to clear up i dont think ive ever raped anybody either! but who actually gets consent?? can you just sign this please love and clear up i have your full consent, things happen when pissed and usually the bloke wakes up and texts his mates, and the girl instantly regrets it. now im not saying this is what happened here by the way, i havent read the story properly to be honest, this is just a general thing that ive debated with my mates and stuff before, when does 2 drunk people shagging become rape..its a grey area sometimes!
