Firstly, regarding you only losing 1 forward... hm. Tell me, Gooner, has Walnut signed a new contract? No, didn't think so. And he's now into his final year, so will be able to leave on a Bosnan at the end.
So, that's RVP and Walnut both wanting to leave AFC.
Doesn't look very promising, does it!
Secondly, regarding our club, the mighty Spurs. Levy has made it absolutely clear last season that he has no intention of selling Modric, and nothing to alter that position has been released by the club. As regards VDV, he may well be concerned that his first team selection is no longer guaranteed as a result of our having signed Sigurdsson from under the noses of the Mousers. As regards Benny, he may well be concerned that we have stolen one of Fergie's brightest young academy talents, the highly rated 19 year old LB, Fryers. Not that there has been any indication that we will be selling either VDV or Benny, but I'll hazard a guess that our new manager will feel that he has more than able replacements.
As regards strikers, yes, we are lacking in that regard, but I rather suspect that Mr Levy is aware of that fact, and is looking to secure a couple of marque signings in that regard.
