May I suggest you change it?

It is a seperately trading company to the Football League, and is called "The Premier League".

The word "english" has nothing to do with it, so could you please be sure that you edit it so that it may become factually correct.

To us it's the EPL.

It's still just called "The Premier League" though.

Your league is called "The Scottish Premier League" to differentiate themselves from it, as they are both seperate entities.

The same applies to "The Welsh Premier League", but just because we have added our countries name before the words "premier league" doesn't mean it applies over the border.

All it does is add more fuel to the fire that "Cardiff and swansea shouldn't be allowed in the english Premier League" when in their own rulebook it states that "The league may consist of no more than 20 teams from england or Wales".

Their own rulebook dispels the myth that it is the EPL, perhaps we should join them?

There is only 1 Premier League, the English Premier League!

Calling it EPL is like calling your TV at home MTV (for My TV), there's just no need for the extra bit!

So you really think everyone in the world outside England calls it the Premier League?

ffs The Yanks call The Times "The London Times".

In Scotland we call it the "EPL" or the "Premiership", as "Premiership" is a bastard to type out we just sasy EPL for short, so we know which league we are talking about.

but why would americans call our times, "the times" when they have their own ?

And why would I call the Premier League anything but the "English Premier League" when we Scots have our own "Premier League"?

The Times is not called "the London Times", it is called "The Times", yet the Yanks call it so, are they somehow insulting the Times by adding the word "London"?

Take your time (sic).
