I hear what your saying, I agree on the whole with what your saying, in the meantime, we'll just keep watching the kids die.

The Israelis need to stop bombing then that will stop. They intercept almost all of the Hamas missiles anyway so what are they actually retaliating to? Last time I checked there had been 2 deaths from Hamas missiles and the rest were due to clashes on the streets. On the other hand we are over 200 Palestinians dead.

The Israelis need to be humbled...the UK is too busy selling them arms for the conflict to be dealing with the consequence it seems.

How is any of it okay ?

This isn't a gender issue. This is oppressed people fighting back. I was watching an article earlier in Beruit, where lots of Palestinian refugees live after being forced from their homes. The two granddaughters of the family said they wanted to return to Palestine to fight for their country's freedom.

It's awful that kids and women are being killed. And it's awful that men are dying too. The whole situation is ****ed up beyond belief. But the one thing I do know, is that the day you give up and surrender to the oppressing force, you might as well be dead anyway.

Like I said mate, the stupidity of humans. All well and good from the comfort of your home in Cornwall mate, it's not your kid and Mrs dying. In Cornwall we can all be brave little soldiers.

I'm talking about the perspective from the Palestinians mate. Their views. Watch the interview with the two women in the Beruit refugee camp, its their words, their identity. It's got nothing to do about me living in Cornwall.

But safety of our own home means we have no view....something like that anyways

Ok, so let's carry on then and let the death toll keep racking up.

Mate when the likes of Aber start liking your posts, then I'd quit, he's more into being a football hooligan, then a saviour of Palestinians.

I can't really control who likes my posts mate. But the point I'm making is that it's not me in the comfort of my own home making these decisions. It's Palestinians on the ground, those living this on the daily who are deciding that all they can do is try and fight back.

I hate seeing women and children being killed, and I hate seeing men being killed too. I wish it would all stop. But like I said, what are they supposed to do, just give up and accept their demise.

I had researched some of this, but tbph I didn't really understand the make up of it all, but I got the impression from what i'd heard and read up on, that there was an Arab party influencing change. I could see how Netty would try and save his neck, if that was the case. So he's trying to interefere with the diplomatic process, no surprise really after his big pally with Trump when he was in power. Biden needs to get tough, he could stop this if he wanted to here and now.

I haven't read the following pages but thought I'd pick up on this. Actually the threat isn't necessarily from the Arab party although having them in any coalition isn't ideal. As with most Israeli politics these days is from the guy who's on the even more extreme right to you... especially if you are right wing yourself.

So the Yamina Party are an alliance of even more right wing parties who have become kingmakers in the latest elections. They've only got 7 seats which is minimal, but because of Netty's corruption case and the fact he's been there for too long AND because he can't seem to hold power or form a coalition, the leader of Yamina, a bloke called Bennet, had basically made a power play for the leadership and surprisingly (or maybe unsurprisingly) there was real momentum with everyone getting behind him.

The only option for a cornered Netty was to show he's even more right wing than this bloke and clearly achieved this by stoking up a lovely little war by provoking the Palestinians into a fight which they duly obliged. It's like Richard III this ****e <laugh>

I certainly wouldn't keep fighting my cause if it meant my kids and grandkids got killed, unless I knew it would be something left for the sake of all Palestinians, but as I said there is only go to be one winner.

Tired of Aber littering the convo so will pause it now.

I guess that's what they are fighting for, the hope that they will be able to leave a legacy of freedom for their kids and grandkids. If they don't fight back, then those generations are destined to suffer the same persecution that they have.

But as I said, it's an impossible situation. Accept your persecution, or fight back and get pummelled.

I didn't realise the Yamina party were even more right wing than Likud.

What a **** show Israel is. The country formed to give Jews a homeland to escape the persecution at the hands of others.

The ****ing irony.

The stupidity of humans mate, especially the male species. I've not once said they shouldn't protest or argue for their land and rights. I'm just tired of seeing kids killed because people want to act like apes, but that's even an insult to apes, because humans are worse than the worst wild animal.
