Kitchen roll is just as good mate ... but stop short of cling film and kitchen foil ... different issues, but neither ended well

My grandad always had that tracing paper bog roll. He was born in 1909 but this was the 1990s so I can only assume he won a lifetime’s supply on the 1950’s equivalent of Bullseye. Now I think about it, he always had a speedboat in the front drive and he lived 120 miles from the coast.
Izal. What a design that was, I know, let’s make a bog roll out of paper that has absolutely no absorbency ability whatsoever. In fact, let’s make one that’s like greaseproof... Genius.
Yeah, there was no logic but he was proper old school. Wore a jacket and tie every day until he got ill. Always looked dapper, ate and drank what he liked. Lived til he was 93. Proper legend. I reckon if more people wiped their arses with tracing paper then we’d all live longer.
