How convenient! I don't have a single recollection of Holt ever diving! How many example I need? I am still waiting for the first one! The supposed handball was his shoulder he controlled it with, and as I have said already the sending off was NOT minimal contact. The fact it wasn't a goalscoring opportunity is the referee's fault and not Holt's. So Holt is not a cheater!

i think your blue tinted specs may not be giving you 20/20 vision to be honest. of course both sets of fans will see things slightly differently and in favour of their team but i really struggle to see what ipswich fans are getting so wound up about over the derby match, especially more than a year on when things should be clearer and you can take a step back from it! holt could have been sent off early on and delaney maybe shouldn't have seen red - the better team won. other than that there is nothing to gripe about from that match and as i pointed out, we too suffered from a couple of poor decisions in that match which could have resulted in more serious action from the officials. have you found anything controversial to moan about from the game at the portaloo yet or are you still searching?
Don't have to agree about the decisions, but I still can't see any evidence to say Holt is a cheat. I think he is a fantastic role model for any footballer to aspire to be, and you only hate him because he plays for us and he destroyed you with his hat-trick last season.
The main fact is yes Danny Haynes scored the goal with his hand so yes he did cheat on that occasion, BUT that is the only time i can recall him doing that. Grunt tries to get fellow professionals sent off for nothing in almost every game with his antics, so he is a regular cheat. Also, any player that tackles like he did on colback could in effect end his career, it was just plain lucky that he walked away from it, that to me is worse then any punching the ball in the net!
sorry guru, you are talking complete bollocks about holt trying to get opponents sent off. i've never witnessed this happen and i see him every week. you have a completely biased opinion because you believe what you want to because he absolutely tore your team apart. you've totally overreacted on the tackle - yes it was poor but end his career? get real!! argument over.
Utter ****e. Utter ****e indeed. Grant Holt never tries that (fellow professionals like Ian Hart try to get him sent off) but never the other way around. I recall him appealing against the referee when Joey Barton was sent off asking him to see sense when we were in a losing position! So if anything, he is the opposite. Grant Holt is not a cheat, in fact he's not even a dirty player, and you are just extremely bitter!
So catching a player around the knee area with the bottom of your foot couldn't end a career? And you judge 1 person who has cheated once (as far as i know) and compare that somebody who tries to con the ref 3 or 4 times a game!!!!! I think we will have to agree to disagree on this one!
Any form of Cheating should be harshly punished either at the time or retrospectivly so as to make cheating a worthless exercise.
guru, you are making stuff up again. holt does not try to cheat 3 or 4 times a game. if you can highlight even ONE game where this has been the case, be my guest, but you won't be able to find one. and he certainly has NEVER cheated to win a football match while at norwich, i can assure you of that.
