In hindsight, I actually think he’s a bit of a narcissist despite the ‘nice guy’ persona the media have cultivated for him. The ‘I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for the Allams’ money’ and ‘little old Hull’ just rubs me the wrong way. Almost as if we as a club were beneath him and he was doing some act of charity for us.

He said equally patronising **** when he was at Villa. “If I go, who are they going to get who’s any better?”

When he was sacked there, they were 12th. By the end of the same season, Dean Smith got them promoted <laugh>
And then he was sacked

If I was Bruce I would have called it a day after Newcastle. But I'm not and if he wants another go then good luck to him.
I'm neither happy or unhappy if he does well wherever he goes. Unless its the TWS of course.

Three replies in quick succession. I think you’re the one upset that I criticised Bruce.
That's cause I've got nowt to do.
I'm waiting for the tennis to start up.

My point was aimed at managers showing loyalty to clubs. Its a job to them that's all.
We all know the merry go round of Managers of Allerdyce, Bruce, Hodgson, Warnock, Pulis etc but it doesn't seem to worry the owners when they take them on. My view, is if the above want to stay on that roundabout than good luck to them.
Bruce is thick skinned like they all are so he'll be happy for some more employment.
I'd be very surprised if his wife wanted him to carry on (more for his health) but that's another story.

I couldn't give a flying fig what happens to managers or players once they leave Hull City.

How many other managers have managed fierce rivals in three different cities/regions in England?

The fact he’ll accept any job so long as they pay him enough is why he’s a mercenary.

Maybe that is because he is more demand from clubs wishing to get promoted than other managers?

Really? We battered promotion rivals in games at the KC, we just didn't get enough results on the road and struggled with mid-week games when we rotated the side. But I wouldn't have said it was an issue with being too pragmatic.
I'll always love brucie for what he did for us but let's be fair his best attributes were man management. The football at times was very turgid.

I don’t see why. Of all the clubs he’s managed, he only got us and Birmingham promoted. Warnock has a better record for getting teams promoted.

Turgid can be my word of the day.
I'll let you know tomorrow how many times I get to use it today.

If that Lingo guy comes on later that'll be another 10.
I'm gonna be busy.
