According to Sky Sports, we have had a £2M bid for Ishmael Miller accepted which imho is a very good deal.

He is not a 20+ goals a season player but is a big strong target man like Howard - albeit younger and much faster.

Why on earth is that a good deal?

He signed for WBA for just over 1m two seasons ago and has scored 7 goals since then for the baggies.

What has he done to warrant a 1m+ increase in his price tag?!

Stinger thinks we havent bid for Miller and since then Sky has stopped running with the story. I think we will hear an answer from Reading over the weekend and if all goes well he could make his debut for us against Reading

Leicester - M.Ball confirms he is now a LCFC player, Leicester will wait for the outcome of their bid for Shane Long over weekend #LCFC

Oh dear god - i will take Mr Miller for dinner and shopping on the town, buy him some shiny new clothes and then personally drive him to Nottingham. I will then utilise the services of a hypnotist to convince him to sign a Trees contract. Nowhere near the KP please!

I think Reading may stop him playing if we do sign Long like we did to Hull when they signed Fryatt

They may well do, but a Matt Millsless defence shouldn't be too tough to breach :P

Inflation?
