Us and Forest have had a £2m bid accepted for Ishmael Miller - SSN

He's 24 and has a total of 16 league goals in his entire career. Though some were in the Prem tbf.

Thoughts.
 
Well, he's a class footballer. But a **** goalscorer.

Nugent may well play brilliantly off him <ok>

Would prefer Long/Maynard and maybe even Jong as well. Maybe better than what we have but probably not good enough for where we want to be. Mid you, I seem to remember he did well for West Brom a few years back but never got a fair crack at the whip anywhere else. Sven wanted him when he first arrived but he got injured and we got lumped with Bednar instead so Sven clearly rates him. Still think there are better options out there though.
 
are we trying to sign 2 strikers? If so not a bad player to come in.

otherwise im a little wary. Not the greatest striker. But sometimes it could be the case of and a famous rugby coach said thisfor englamd just cant remember which one- "no, your not the bst player out there in your position. But your the best player out there in your position for our team."

not the most ability, but big, quick, tall and strong so could do well as our lone striker.

No idea who he is but it would make sense - not quite good enough to lead our line but as a back-up very good.
 
why replace big steve? he has looked in the form of his life in pre season! There is no'replacement'for big steve though, he is a one of a kind player!!

He's nothing special but would fit into our system well, and perhaps help king score a few more whilst still hitting a good 12+ himself.
