Or

Two other Clubs were ripped off really badly.

<laugh>

It's actually largely this. Player prices have gone crazy on a general basis, but the likes of Manure, Chelsea and Liverpool have literally thrown stupid money away on some absolute garbage. The fees paid for the likes of Nunez, Antony, Cucarella, etc. are just mental when you watch them play.

£64 million for Nunez, £64 million for Hojlund............we got a bargain.

Add in Kai Havertz who cost £65m and is apparently on £270k p/w

If we don't offer Isak a chunk more money in the next 12 months you can understand him having his head turned.

There's going to be nothing Newcastle can do with regards to all that once the new squad cost ratio comes into play.

I'm sure you're all aware that the order of football is decided in the main by wages and the ****houses trying to protect that order and their money know themselves.

They want to remove the opportunity for clubs to offer higher wages and be able to impose sanctions quicker (immediate). The method of kicking the can down the hill based on a 3 year rolling calculation is something they want to remove.

It's being sold under the spin that it'll offer a higher % than Europe, but ultimately it's just another tightening of the noose. The 'clubs agreed to' line off the back of another vote Newcastle and others can never win will be used.

Newcastle will be best of the rest potentially though which is good.

I don't want to disappoint you, however, were going to win the lot most, if not every, year!!

It's highly unlikely under the rules now never mind the ones coming in, but they'll have good times and bad times at least which is better than most clubs in the country.

How are they going to close the gap? The difference in revenues is like 400 million a year. They can't even get inflated sponsorship.

Scouting, better coaching, better management.
