Well, I'm pretty much Loiner's bitch, and the Hull board hate me for numerous reasons (one of which is the fact that I look at Leeds with neither affection or hatred, but indifference).
I think it's because you embarrass all the Hull fans. Nothing to be embarrassed about, hard to be embarrassed when noone pays attention to your tin pot club!
Loiner, be a dear and translate this for me. I think he's saying we're a small club and that I'm embarrassed but shouldn't be. Is that it?
I think he's saying your truthful and balanced approach to life, the cosmos and all matters Leeds United is met with condescension from small-minded Hull fans. A compliment within an insult, if you like. Soft inner message with a hard outer shell. Hard to understand those folk from Farsley though.
We did go that mental against Donny. I was there. The McCormack overhead kick, especially. Probably more so than the Clayton effort, though that was pretty awesome as well. The atmosphere was also better against Donny and if you were looking it from a rivalry perspective, they're probably on a level pegging with you. It meant a fair bit to beat the Overspending, Football-Destroying ****ers Of The Season - don't get me wrong - but that aside, your fans mean nothing more than Derby, Wolves or Walsall to me. Mediocre Midlanders. And I never said we meant more to Man U than Man City and Liverpool do, just that it's a two-way rivalry. Talk to any of their matchgoing fans and they'll confirm that Leeds are one of their main disliked teams, before going on some unintelligible rant about how we 'deserved it in Istanbul', got tret in the Wars of the Rowwwziz and fornicate with sheep in the Vale of Pickering.
Anyway, this thread can be closed as in answer to the original question......NO, this will not be the start of a rivalry with Leicester /Hull....there was never one in the first place. SO HAPPY to get big nige back...onwards and upwards now!!! Good night
Erik, you know I like to edit my posts after I've pressed 'post quick reply'. A bit of risky post-publication drafting, if you will. So in the future, please leave one of my posts a couple of minutes before you quote it so I have sufficient time to make amendments. Thanks. Hope the kids are well BTW.
The most rival game I felt in years was when we played Arsenal after the whole spitting/handshake incidents. Both teams going crazy for it like a true rivalry match and the same every time we played since, shame if we ever reach the top flight again that tension will most likely have dissipated after the sacking of Browny, though I still feel the same almost hatred towards their deluded stupid fans and definitely hate that french frog eating twat Wenger. Hope he gets hit by a ****ing bus... A team bus parked in front of the goal that is..
I went to the Emirates when you lost 3-0 there. Good atmosphere, and did feel like a real rivalry. Denilson scored a ****ing free kick
