    Yeah, I reckon, mate.

My Newcastle supporting mates said your football was dog **** for the large majority of the season and you nearly hit 100 points. I like to look for the clubs that finish strongly. Villa done that, Terry will be massive for them and a full season under Bruce, I expect them to be at the top. If they get off to a flyer they could runaway with it once they've built momentum.

I expect Boro to be fighting it out with Sheff Wed, Fulham and maybe Reading for that 2nd spot.

It's not a good league at all, but it is very competitive.

Not sure Terry's gonna do it this season, 36 now and hardly played last season; Villa pick players on reputation too much, like when they went down and had 2 total total wasters at the centre of their defence in Lescott and Richards, and hardly played Clark who was easily their best CD. Their defence was utter dogshit both times we played them, needs more than just an aging Terry to sort it out.

We were crap maybe 40% of the time, when Hayden was playing DM and Gayle was fit we absolutely destroyed teams, however too often Hayden was injured and your ginger old boy was in the team and we were total crap, we roughed it out most of the time by just about having a good enough squad to accomodate the injures. Not a great league, but a tough one and a gruelingly long season, squad depth is key.

You can't compare the Villa team that went down to the one they have now. Different managers. It's not like it's part of the club's identity to pick players on name.

When Terry played last season, he still looked capable in the premier league. I doubt a few months later and he's not going to be able to cut it in a much weaker league.

Agree with you about it being a gruelling league. We could struggle along until Christmas with our squad, we won't get it complete this transfer window. Hopefully we can add a few more in January and finish the season strongly, like Villa. I'll be happy with that and then hopefully we could mount a strong promotion challenge the season after.

Tom Cairney's gonna be the player of the league, amazing that he hasn't gone to a Prem club by now.

They keep that young black lad to. Forgot his name. I fancy Fulham to do better than villa like.

It's anybody's league this year tho.

Huge season for Sunderland , and good luck coming straight back up . Took a while for me to realise , there was no rabbit coming out of the hat as last season drew to a close ..... seemed like an annual event and was waiting for it to happen again ... with popcorn in hand .
