My Chelsea-supporting mate told me, today, that he has absolutely no interest in Chelsea at the moment, and won't watch them whilst Coco is in charge. Knowing how much he loves Chelsea, I know how aggrieved and humiliated he feels, at the moment.
You don't have mates twat features how many more times do you have to be told??? Go blindfold yourself and drive to work!
The problem is that for all the investment the club has received, I have never seen us punch so far below our weight. It's not the league position in and of itself that's depressing, its that the performances are not commensurate with the astronomical wages. Its the weight of expectation. Its the need to justify the spending. Its that we seem to be led by amateurs, with a wallet far too big for their brains. And more than anything else, its that the club hierarchy seem to be completely oblivious to all this, to the depth of antipathy towards the direction they are taking us. Its weird, but for all our trophies, I was a far happier blue back when we could support the soul of the club, no matter how we were doing in the league. Unfortunately with all the money and success, after nearly a decade at or near the top of English and European football, the soul of the club has changed so much that its hard to be happy when the possibilities for overachievement and exceeding expectations are now so limited. When most roads lead down, wise leadership becomes even more important to help steer the right course. Unfortunately, we seem to be currently steered by the blind.
I think you have done well still realistically fighting for 2nd considering you finished 6th last season.
Beautifully put BELUGA. It's not so much being steered by the blind, more a case of the bland leading the bland.
