Arteta is different not worse. And he is THE SINGLE midfielder who has an absolutely secure place in our side after what he did last season.

Nuri Sahin is far better than Rosicky and Diaby and far less injury prone than both of them and Wilshere.

The Times are claiming he's on a £120,000 a week contract at Madrid. If that's true then there was never any chance of getting him on the permanent

Learn to read, ******. I said Cazorla is better, Wilshere was almost at his level, but Arteta would need to be dropped if wilshere was fit. Sahin would be an automatic starter, Alongside Arteta, in a role he played for Dortmund. Our 4-2-1-3 is similar to Dortmunds 4-2-3-1, it's just our wingers push up more. It's a similar system, so i don't see why he wouldn't be a success.

Hell no he won't. Our 3rd best player and most solid midfielder last year and VICE-CAPTAIN and you want to drop him for a loanee who would be new to the league.
Diaby looked decent, Ramsey look good at the Olympics plus the 3 aforementioned Midfielders and Rosicky too. He will not be an automatic starter.

"Better" is subjective. I made a very simple claim, they would absolutely be competition to him for a starting place.

    Holy ****.

I think people are being a bit unrealistic about what to expect from Wilshere when he returns

I mistyped, i meant to say Arteta would be dropped when Jack returns. he would start alongside Sahin.

Ramsey is crap. Diaby will be injured by next month, Rosicky is still about a month away from returning i believe.

    <doh>

I made absolutely no mention of "better". I'm not the type who makes such judgement based on performances on another league on different circumstances.

You are saying that a guy coming into a new team, a new completely different beast of a league, wouldn't face competition from a former regular starter (Wilshere), the guy who carried part of our season last year (Rosicky) and a talented midfielder who's been with the club for years (Diaby). And I'm the ******? <doh>

Oh yeah, I mean the great Olympics tournament he had, let's just rubbish him right now. Some fan/supporter you are <doh>
Diaby will be injured next month, because the boo boys din't say the same thing about Robin
Rosicky is injured yes, but he'll be competing for places when he comes back. Again I tell you, Arteta will NOT be dropped. Our 1st choice midfield would be: Arteta, Jack, Cazorla (When all fit)

    Absolutely!

Hence, Sahin would have competition to secure a place.

Holy **** is that such a controversial thing to say?

Even if the guy does join us I'm certain he won't start getting games straight away.

    Realist? <rofl><doh>
Diaby will be injured in a month, Ramsey is crap besides the fact that he was good in the Olympics and looked decent when he came on.

You weren't being a realist, you were being dumb. You said a player who was good in another league in different circumstances (with a team he played for years) wouldn't face competition from established quality players in another team.

Noone is saying he can't secure a place, but he absolutely will have to earn his place.

On the logic your spouting, Lionel Messi wouldn't start over Theo Walcott, because he's from another league, with a different system etc.

I'll be pissed if he goes to Liverpool. He would have topped off an already quality midfield at Arsenal. I really thought we had this one in the bag!

I'd put money on Jose being at the heart of it if there was an Arsenal deal in place that fell through!

If we don't get Sahin we need to add another top quality player to the team.

Not overly fussed if I'm honest. He would have added fantastic depth to our midfield but is surplus to requirements really. We do need an out and out DM as I said earlier...

Same scenario though. The guy said Sahin wouldn't start because of a different system etc. blah blah blah.

I can't be bothered anymore tonight. Im not getting myself banned because of you.
