A butch bald headed stoke fan with his toddler in a child seat tried to run me over once. He was so offended that we let them beat us 2-0 (George boateng 1 kick KO match) that he tried to start on me on the way to the car, ran to his car, mounted the path and tried to hit me, did a U-turn ad tried again whilst shouting out the window. All the while I was jeering him that he should learn to drive
As you've brought it up, you were banned from the Leeds forum for switching to personal abuse rather than abuse aimed at the club, and that was after ignoring a PM warning from one of their mods. (I specifically asked about it when I saw the ban come up on the mod board)
As for banning the Stokie, we have a set of rules on here that applies to this forum and this forum only. If another forum is more strict about how it bans people that doesn't mean we're going to start banning people just because a few on here don't know how to ignore them making a tit of themselves.
I don't think we should ban the bellend, he's be great to laugh at over the last few days

I'm not really debating the merits of the ban or whether others should have been as well as it has no bearing on how we moderate on here, and the bans are all checked and applied by the supermod who's a neutral. The reason given to and then checked by the supermod before the ban was applied was personal abuse, which to me is worse than someone just being a tit which was the point I was trying to make.
The main thing at the moment is people posting elsewhere need to remember we're one of the most lightly modded sports forums on the site, so when they post elsewhere they need to rein it in a bit. You're not the only one from on here to have crossed a line this weekend. These things happen.
Fair play but can you tell me who can alter posts and re word them so they do not resemble in any way shape or form what I have originally posted?
If a post is deemed offensive then it should be just deleted, not re worded with derogatory and blatantly offensive( not personal but still offensive) content.
Any mod of a forum can edit posts. The policy I have is that if a post breaks the rules, but is generally making a good point I will edit it whilst keeping the points being made the same (which is mainly for the swear filter thing) because of the fact it's making a good point as well. If it's not then I'd just delete it. The policy on some other forums is that if they have someone they think is wumming then they'll edit the WUM's post to do exactly what you've said so it undermines the WUM's efforts and they just go away. Surprisingly that actually proves quite effective for them so it's a legitimate way to carry on, although not one I'd want to do myself as we don't really have that many wums come on here anyway.
Once posts have been edited the mods of the forum can see the previous versions. Where you see the bit at the bottom of edited posts saying who edited it we click on it and it shows us every edited version and highlights the changes made each time. Obviously I can't see the Leeds forum, but if DMD or ISTPLT edit one on here I can see what they've done, and vice versa. The supermod has the ability to do that to any posts on any forum so it shouldn't influence bannings.

Which is fact and nothing for the Leeds board to get themselves in a tizzy over.
I then went onto say the Leeds fans I know would not be interested in all this sucking up and arse licking that was going on. This was in relation to this numpton from Stoke and some other berk who supports West Ham who have been brown nosing the Leeds lot.
Absolutely nothing personal what so ever.
My post then got changed to say that Hull was a **** hole and stank off fish.
If that's not an abuse of your powers as a mod then please tell me what is.
On the other thread I was posting on I got called from a pig to a **** but funny how nothing happened with that.

PS: Not sure what message you've got when you try and go on there, but the intention is for it to be a 1 day ban (give or take a bit because it needs to be removed manually).

Their team play anti-football. They are probably the most hated team ever to play in the Premier League. Their fans are just mindless. They had a riot at the Britannia at a beam back game when only Stokies were in the ground. ******s.

In summary, Stoke is the worst place in the country, and I've been to Luton.
