very difficult to assess military v military "acts" not making excuses it is right.. but you have to bear in mind this is a war like no other out numbered by anything in excess of 6 to 1 with no medical aid [ Russians destroyed most of it and dont have field hospitals !] a soldier on the battle field seriously injured with no pain killers, [ either side ] and likely would die as a result of injuries???? Also the tying of hands of hands [ Russians ] IN A BATTLE / AMBUSH SITUATION THEN SHOOTING THEM !!!... really .... bear in mind there have been pictures of Russian soldiers dead or otherwise with the "white band " on the arm as far down as the wrist!! I am not saying it does not happen on either side, its wrong. Civilians should not be involved AT ALL .....
It does indeed. Archaic equipment, bad planning/tactics, demoralised conscripts, poor logistics….. ….. and yet the Russians possess modern high-tech weapons including a new ‘state of the art’ tank we haven’t seen yet. The ‘Spetsnaz’ are up there with the SAS amongst the best fighting units in the world and we haven’t seen anything of those either - a small team of Spetsnaz could have taken out the Ukrainian president on the first day of the war. WHY aren’t we seeing any of this? Are they being saved for a bigger conflict perhaps? We must NEVER underestimate the Russians. They haven’t started properly yet.
War is ugly, things happen, It doesn’t make it right but the Ukrainians didn’t ask for a war, and are just trying to defend their country. Of course the Russian soldiers don’t really have a choice either.

Some aircraft must be flying without beacons on? Spy planes are at 35000ft [ not as many as suspected there might be? ] occassionally Hawks/ spy planes are at 51-55,000 ft "in sight" ... but beacon seems to go off and no point of where they have gone/landed ... if they have!
the General in charge of the atrocities in Syria has been put in charge of the Army as of today! probably because he speaks SYRIAN and the mercenaries can be blamed for atrocities as canon fodder! US spy planes/ info gathering state 100 battalions are being prepared for the next stage! today extremely busy air traffic [ military ] SPY PLANES have been up all day with beacons on! .. Forte1 was over Black sea for quite a while with beacon off![ on for just a few minutes! ] spent hours on border with BELARUS before moving south. was 1 of 3 spyplanes down the coast of black sea that put beacons on! Masses of military cargo planes between USA/CANADA today including some types that carry troops as well as cargo! Quite a few from UK! Slovakia sending their whole ground to air missile system to ukraine.. as they have been resupplied with updated Patriot system for home defence UK sending at least 100 " bumble bee hoverfly" drones [ a friend told us about them a couple years ago ] they hover or take station before allotted a target then off they go .....boom! It will be a very very sad episode really sad episode when Russia makes their push, for both sides 000's will die, military and civilians the Donas will be A BLOODBATH LIKE NO OTHER ...Putin will not want to lose, or want to face the Russian public when the truth comes out ....... Amongst the soldiers being dragged in are "retired and past conscripts from the last 20 years! they have no choice collected off the streets and taken to the nearest enlistment centre...... I fear for the younger peeps of this world anyone under 60 -65 they are going to have lives of hell ......... an associate who had a job designing military drones ... has been called up ... he is a CPO, and commented to a Q I made to him about air traffic [ military ] ! there is far more going on that you see on your aircraft app: Past week has been busy, wont say what he thinks, but I believe the intensity of groups of fighter planes in 4 different countries air forces in EUROPE "jousting" is prepping or training. When I asked are you going abroad.. to train operators! His answer was see you in the summer! 2 -3 years ago, they were keeping drones flying on the edge of space almost!!! I wonder if any in orbit yet...lol
I think you are spot on with the comment about the air traffic apps not apparently showing everything that's going on. I noticed one specific airport today where the were 3 untagged planes just milling around as if getting ready for something unknown and they were the only planes at that location that I think was in Chechia. It must be coming more evident by the day that Putin has lost any hope of reasoning when he stated today from Belarus that peace talks were at an end due to the insistence by us that he is committing war crimes. I believe that within a couple of days after the next move by Putin, especially if it is of a more sinister nature, we may have a better idea of what could be coming down the pipe towards him. This man is holding the world to ransom for his own personal agenda of hatred and thuggery and if he is allowed to continue unabated then we must face the long term damage that would be done by our inactions. Sooner or later he, or someone else, will fall over the trip wire and if the actions by Putin have not better prepared the rest of the world then we are in deep goo-goo. Let's hope that when the bell rings we have all our ducks and weaponry in an organized row ready to crush this tyrant and his cohorts without a trace. What a shame that the Ukrainian surface to air missiles didn't hit Putin's helicopter on his way to Belarus because I would like to have seen the reply from what was left of his empire back in the office. it wasnt a helicopter it was a military iluysin and left moscow with beacon on at the time thought it was strange! On my tracker, you can pick up traffic between EAST COAST /NEWFOUNDLAND that suddenly come to light as if started journey from the sea / middle of a field!!! In 3 days logged but not all the time watching! 39 trans atlantic flights including 5 countries .. main one USA / Canada& UK same / Germany / Denmark[ just 1 ] most air tankers over europe at 1 time was 4 been odd couple of drones and NATO01/11 SPY PLANES ... plus about 5 other spy planes .. 1 drone actually was on coast [ Constanta about 100 miles up and down coast ] but momentariy switched on its beacon from 30+ miles out over Black sea ... height was 56-57000ft

My views on flight radar aren't as in depth as yours John but I have this feeling that you are more on the ball than any others on this site. Do you have a direct link to that large round building near Cheltenham or with Bumbling Boris because you must have access to information not intended for the general public based on the detailed info you post?
Funny thing is back before the new building, when they were mainly over the otherside closer to race course I failed to get a job as my morse code at the time was only 16 wpm rec: about 1982 I think ... transmit was up around 22 wpm but of course is recieving station could have applied as a tea boy I suppose and worked my way up! ...lol! Think my OSA has worn off now!!! used to be registered at a number of naval bases /army bases / bae military sites for sensitive courier deliveries. Have a number of friends in the military 1 used to fly hercules from Brize ... about 300ft high down M4 corridor almost every day on training used to go all over within 300 mile radius. got 2 or 3 mates in the fray on the ground and a couple mates that work/ed out of abbey wood. Also 1 friend who works for !!!!!!! in Toulose! SO I suppose pre this event I had some inkling of what was about and how could be used infuture conflicts. But dont get a lot of info now ...just put 2 and 2 togetherto make 4.1!

well I have 3 screens! can go5 if I use laptops! highest ever height recorded today 120,300 speed 3 knots FMBHL over pyreneee's. Must be showing all Russians A LOT MORE ACTIVITY! .. Today 2 drones at 56,000 one over Black sea most southerly bit of UKRAINE.. maybe spying on the dooomed ship... now sunk! along with alt least 32 cruise missiles! pAT 78 MADE IT TO EAST COAST usa! was flying at 48,000 USUALLY GOES VERY QUIET AT THIS TIME OF NIGHT ..... hardly anything showing but of course there is stuff up there!..lol
It will be interesting to see the effect that the sinking of the Moskva will have on events. As flagship of the Black Sea Fleet, that is one hell of a trophy strike and will piss Putin off no end if confirmed is was a Neptune missile that did the initial damage. I think it may be a case of watching out for serious reprisals including chem weapons!
