The tide takes a long time to turn, when those that need to be exposed have been kept under it drowned in propaganda designed to suppress there desire to have a better life [ have a life where state helps with housing very poor quality and basic and food is basic with travel non existant ] say half the Russians has not had a McD.. .. nike shoes ... branded clothes because they are in the areas where the cities like St Petersburg are not AND NEWS AND INTERNET are futuristic inventions they have not heard of!!!
It was mentioned to me, beside the 16m+ Ukrainians to have left, in Russia a million have also fled .. mainly younger ones, ones who are avoiding conscription? to replace them in the more modern areas of RUSSIA almost a million Ukranian residents were forceably taken into Russia .. a great many went and then did a runner through the northern baltic states!
Strange how the news that inside 12 hours they had tracked down a mini car and occupants that killed the daughter of a outspoken RUSSIAN has not had news since. How after over 100 journalists were invited to Izyum now spouting off by PESKY the Russian mouth piece .... there must be a lot of in depth thinking on how they can get away with that.....

In the early days of the Ukrainian counteroffensive, Russian military telegram channels explained the success of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region by the fact that the front line was kept there mainly mobilized from the self-proclaimed "DPR" and "LPR", and in Balaklia, rosgvardia fighters from Bashkortostan and Samara were in the operational environment.

But as the Ukrainian troops advanced, it became clear that they also attacked the positions of russian military personnel.

    Marines from Kaliningrad
"Are you citizens of which country? Russians? Parents are there? How old? Did you know that you went to war?" Ukrainian soldier asks questions to very young Russian soldiers who were captured.

They answer that they arrived from the Kaliningrad region, that they were under twenty years old, their parents were waiting for them at home, and that they were going to war, they did not know.
It was Kaliningrad motorized rifles, not mobilized residents of the self-proclaimed "DPR" and "LPR" or fighters of the Sobru of the Rosgvardia, who, according to Russian pro-government media, held the front in the Kharkiv region.

Currently, the new front line runs along the Oskil River. Behind it are several more Kharkiv villages and the occupied Luhansk region begins.

When you see the military training the folks from the armed forces displayed yesterday, I'd fancy us against any foreign power in a conventional war.

World class would be the description of the displays at the Queen's funeral. A fitting tribute from beginning to end, one of which we should all be proud. I just wish those military men and women could go straight to Ukraine and show that kind of discipline to beat Putin's mob.

I’ve posted before that the more embarrassed Putin is on the world stage the more dangerous he will be.

One of his media people came out with the statement that if Russia nuked Britain then NATO would be too scared to do anything - and I think there’s some truth in that. Can you honestly see Biden hitting back if the UK got nuked? Maybe - but I’m no longer confident in the alliance - our leaders are so pathetic.

This is the type of ‘news’ the Russian people watch on their TV:
Putin 'should have nuked Queen's FUNERAL', Russian propagandist says

The whole point of nuclear weapons is both sided are aware the consequences of using them is dire for the perpetrator as well as the targeted, as long as Putin, or any other despot leader for that matter, thinks the West will, or even may, retaliate in kind, they won’t take the chance.

Biden would retaliate if Putin attempted to nuke us, or any European country, if only because, not to would embolden Putin, and USA would not want an emboldened Russia on its hands.

The international community has never recognised the Crimea annexation, but it has long been clear that Russia intends to rubber-stamp its takeover of other occupied regions in the same way.
Annexing more Ukrainian territory would enable the Kremlin to claim Russia itself was coming under attack from Nato weapons. Russia launched its invasion on 24 February.
There is speculation that Russia may announce a mass mobilisation, to beef up its forces in Ukraine. The Russian parliament has approved tougher punishments for crimes such as desertion, damage to military property and insubordination during mobilisation or combat operations.

This is a cynical, panic stricken manouvre. To the layman it is quite clear that Russia says sending no conscripts to war, we fight fair do not target civilians etc etc is false a downright lie. The death's of all those prisoners in the fire in the area near MARITOPUL were deliberate to cover up the crimes likely committed by PDR's and Wagner mercenaries MAYBE /LIKELY Russian troops also?

The capture of Kaliningrad soldiers some of whom gave up info very easily shows the majority of current Russian military may not like what they are doing? Hence the parliament stating any troops including conscripts, who until now have a right to refuse to go to war will have it taken away. ... and fight and kill or be shot by an officer. WOW mass exodus of conscript ages before call up! one would hope so ... maybe Europe should offer all defectors a place to stay!
Erdogan says Russian president ready to " talk" but parliaments etc say turning the heat up who is trying to confuse who ... ? Ukraine must hopefully have gotten sabotuers in the donbas ready to blow up voting stations! although the likely hood is voting will be heavily rigged via internet.
A further thought regarding Kaliningrad soldiers, they have had a very peaceful life sandwiched in Europe, Lithuania has been helpful to them transporting needed goods and materials to Belarus / Russia [ non sanctioned items ] could this now change?

Obviously they are now losing ground so trying to use the so called elections to claim the area as legitimate Russian territory. I assume they will then claim any attempt by Ukraine to regain them as an attack on Russia.

I guess it’s upping the anti, but Apart from WMD’s what would they be able to do differently from now?,

The rest of the world will presumably take no notice on the “elections” and see them for what they are ( a sham) , so any threat of using WND’s would presumably meet the same fate either way?

I will digest the news stuff later, whilst the arrests today are more intense, as reported through various posts over past few months people have been arrested daily for speaking out, a source intimates there could over 30,ooo in detention already.
Baltic states, route to "freedom" so far many is closing its doors... dangerous as could allow sabotuers etc to sneak out with easy access to Europe!
The 2 main cities are going to be quite active, and the emoji language is picking up! Emoji's are like the allie's secret language used during the war to defeat german code breakers reading allied messages ...

Just noticed a french helicopter flying at 70,000 plus feet ...wow ......... The Tiger has the distinction of being the first all-composite helicopter developed in Europe; even the earliest models also incorporate other advanced features such as a glass cockpit, stealth technology, and high agility to increase its survivability. Improved variants have since entered service, outfitted with more powerful engines and compatible with a wider range of weapons. Since entering service, Tigers have been used in combat in Afghanistan, Libya, and Mali.

to me Biden was like Marmite like/ dislike I was in middle. thanks to BCRW got to listen to his address at the UN. ............. AMAZING, ODD stutter, but in the main unless he was mimimg!!! a well delivered speech eyes front left right ..........
142 of 193 had condemned the war, wonder how many would now!! Russian Federation looked rather pan faced, it probably sinks in but their response or reaction is never their own it is dictated.
Hitler at the death, took his own life, knew it was over.. war crimes etc made certain the death penalty was on the board. Has Putrid got the same bottle, able to take the pill which is in the 2nd back on the left jaw! or will he push the button then take the pill.
China is very quiet, they have probably sussed out the fact in a nuclear exchange they will also be ultimately big losers. Contaminated land used for crops will mean a massive world food crisis and China has a third of the worlds population. What is the importance of the Saudi Arabia connection, probably the richest nation in the world but also with a poor humane record! a "turn over a new leaf" scenario? or by annexing the Donbas THE PRISONERS ARE A LIABILITY ... what they say when interviewed will be interesting
Himars mentioned by Russia as "weapons supplied by Nato" give a clue as to what they fear, BUT Ukraine still has a stock of its own Neptunes! took out the "MOSCOW" ]
Kupiansk Ukraine needs to get closer to the river although a bit of a own goal ... blew up the bridges but have y the pontoons to cross ? also the bridge across the entrance to the AZOZ sea needs to be eliminated .. maybe not the arch but the run up to it from Crimea.

Rumours are saying that those arrested will be conscripted into the Russian army following recent legislation.
If that's true, then Putin is in deep trouble, as people protesting against a pointless war, aren't going to want to fight in one !

Putin has to do something, and quick. Winter is fast approaching, and he (or, more importantly, his troops) won't want a harsh Eastern European winter stuck in the trenches with no progress being made. I think even Putin has now realised that many of his troops might just jack that in and surrender/walk away, as many have already. He can't let that happen, so he has to try and force a conclusion between now and the end of November when the temperatures start to plummet and the snow arrives.
