I wasn't going to suggest anything as I don't have the necessary knowledge of strategic capabilities of the UK, it's European allies, Russia, USA, etc., but it is clearly a case that Putin cannot be trusted, so - in my view - it is likely that he will go further once Ukraine has been annexed. What will happen then is another matter!
I meant HURT Putin. Not necessarily attack Moscow. Proper sanctions and blockade them. Cut them off from the world - and anyone else who supports their activities. Anyway it may not be necessary - it seems he’s losing the support of many of his own people. btw if he ever DID use nuclear weapons he would also be accepting his own country’s destruction.

Putin has spent a lot of his time isolating Russia from the rest of the civil world much the same as all of these criminals trying to rule the rest of us. Leaving him alone is not the answer and force is definitely not the way as he will respond with unknown retributions beyond our comprehension at a moments notice. The people of Russia who have not been brainwashed by Putin's lies or ambitions must step up and be counted otherwise the only count will be in the body department. It has been shown that there are many in Russia who disagree with the current threat to world peace but as we have seen that generally means arrest and possible severe punishment for trumped up charges of sedition and treason. The world has finally found out the true colours of this despot who will go down in history as a psychopathic monster who cares nothing for his people when it comes down to his and his oligarchs advancement at the bank. Taking into account all the mysterious deaths around the world including the U.K., of well known dissenters must show what he is capable of and it pales in comparison with the events of the last few days. Someone has to be capable of wiping the smug grin off his face and perhaps it would only take a large bounty on his head to get the job done.
