In the case of Aiden Aslin he's not the mercenary that the Russians are calling him.
He is ex British services, moved to Ukraine in 2016 and is married to a Ukrainian woman.
It's not as if he's travelled specifically there to fight the Russians, he's defending the country he calls his home.
Shame the Iraqis, Afghans and Iranians don't do the same. Just sayin' !

problem is Russia has spaced itself from this execution scandal ... stated the PDR is / has made their own laws and rules .. it has already added an extra vigour to UKRANIAN TRROOPS to oppose the PDR MILITIA EVEN HARDER .. UK MOD observers estimate half the militia has been killed. so ....... Russia flattening it all indescriminate shelling of houses and buildings ... so no where to live or work and is Supporting PDR with conscripts who dont want to fight ... the donbas needs to wake up and smell the coffee .. or at least smell the the stench of the dead burning buildings and suffering the loss health due to disease and dust .. Putrid does not care about that region really or why else is it razed to the ground????

BRA completes world’s first 100% SAF flight

Swedish airline BRA, in cooperation with ATR Aircraft and fuel supplier NESTE, completed the first true 100% sustainable aviation fuel flight with a commercial aircraft this week.

I thought Virgin did a couple years ago?

On and off all day planes have "gone dark" and re appeared some time later
PAAF518 switched off over porugese/spanish border and came back on just N of Limoges now over the MED east of Monaco still at 23,000 ft...! French spy over Constanta appears it all goes on "in the dark" .. probaly there is a need for 4-6 stratotankers as wed do not see what most of them are refuelling ... certainly refuel a number of fighter jets ....

As an aside JGF, do civilian aircraft/helicopters legally need to have their transponders on at all times whilst flying?

The reason I ask is that I do some gardening work near Polo Aviation in Congresbury/Wrington. Obviously at this time of year (Pilton!) it's very busy for them yet flightradar seems to have little logged traffic for them!

All commercial aircraft are supposed to, Military ones seems like they dont. I live under the current [ say current not supposed to be ] flight path some of the planes show right from the start of take off and to where they park at Lulsgate some dont. some small private planes dont have them ... as they just fly local to preset flight path's pre arranged.
I put a pic up of my screen the other day about 13000 -14000 planes on it, orange is down around 500ft pink 40,000 red 40 -70,000ft

2145 at the moment and just 1 plane showing on ground at Lulsgate [Ryan air 737] zooming there is 2 one just coming off area in front of terminal RYR508R to take off? HEADING toward A38 the other RYR 8BT GETTING READY?
Take off toward the Bristol channel [ wind direction ]

ps END OF RUNWAY READY TO GO AND AN EASY JET a320 NEO , GUZHY APPEARS NEXT TO MAIN BUILDING

    PART 1

Early on Saturday Russia launched a barrage of missiles at targets in the north and west of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian military says the attacks included - for the first time - missiles fired from Tu-22 bombers flying over Belarus to the north.
On Saturday Russian President Vladimir Putin met his Belarusian ally Alexander Lukashenko in St Petersburg and pledged to deliver nuclear-capable Iskander-M missiles to Belarus.

Russia's 24 February invasion of Ukraine included Russian armoured columns sent in from Belarus. Iskander missiles have been deployed previously in Kaliningrad, a small Russian Baltic territory between Nato members Lithuania and Poland. They have a range of up to 500km (300 miles).

Mr Putin told President Lukashenko "in the next few months we'll give Belarus tactical Iskander-M missile complexes, which can fire ballistic and cruise missiles, both conventional and nuclear types", Russian RBC news reported.
Mr Lukashenko asked for Russia to make Belarusian warplanes nuclear-capable, and Mr Putin said Belarusian Su-25 fighter jets would be upgraded.

    PART 2

Russian cruise missiles were also fired from ships in the Black Sea on Saturday, Ukraine's military said. Missiles struck military installations in the Lviv region, in the west, and Zhytomyr, north-west Ukraine, though a few were shot down, the reports said.
Ukraine also reported a heavy rocket strike on Desna, a village near Chernihiv in the north.
At the St Petersburg meeting, Mr Lukashenko also lashed out at Lithuania's decision to block Russia's rail transit of some goods to Kaliningrad via its territory. The Belarusian leader said Lithuania's move was "a sort of declaration of war" and "unacceptable". ...

Steel and some other Russian goods come under the EU sanctions imposed over Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Lithuania says its measures affect only 1% of the normal Russian goods transit on the route, dismissing Russian talk of a "blockade" of Kaliningrad.

    comments.....
Why is Russia worried about steel ... they are stealing 1000's of tonnes of it from Mariupol
This has to be a serious escalation of events, Russia gives Belarus a couple of Nukes they use them Russia denies using them .. ! This seems to be building up to invade or arm trains to move through Lithuania!

I spoke a few years ago to "friends" in Kalingrad more than 10 years! But they said other than the docks most people in Kalingrad feel more aligned to Europe, Poland and Lithuania are strong friends and a lot of "weddings" ..! LITHUANIA needs to derail the track ... make a statement send Nukes to Belarus and we close the border....
Belarus with the new support and launch pad for aggression should be sanctioned moreso ... suspend their sports people banks and embassies .. , Mr Lukashenko is as evil or worse than Putrid .....

NATO CONFERENCE NEXT WEEK IS RECIEVING THE TEST PAPERS FROM PUTRID ..... he is turning up the heat to see the response ... NATO NEEDS TO GET TOUGH .....

Ukraine needs to start on the Russian Fleet, they have weapons that can maybe reach Sebastopol naval anchorage

Whatever happened to the patriot missile system given to Israel! it was very successful ....

The Belarusian leader said Lithuania's move was "a sort of declaration of war" and "unacceptable". ... Does this mean Belarus Leader wants some of the action!!!

Was actually up on the flat roof of my rear extension replacing a cracked double glazed sealed unit that some bastard threw a rock at.

Must admit it was a bonus - I'm trying to find out who threw the rock to thank him.....<laugh>

I have always thought that Putin's intentions were never to stop at the Donbas but rather block Ukraine from all access to the Black Sea. NATO and the EU need to get their ducks in a row but if they don't have a tactical plan in place by now I would be shocked and seriously concerned about a terrible escalation throughout Europe. Lukashenko is a tyrant just as evil as his counterpart in Moscow and don't forget he made a bomb threat at Ryanair forcing one of their planes to make an emergency landing in Belarus just so he could arrest a young couple probably on trumped up charges. The crossroads are starting to get closer and which way the players choose to take get's riskier every single day and one wrong move by anyone could spell disaster resulting in who knows what?

Clearly Putin needs to be stopped by actions and not words or threats as it's the only thing he understands and for the rest of the world to sit by and let it happen is outrageous. I hope the Belarusian population will rise up against this insanity.
