I've always understood it to mean that the chemical storage facilities have the agent in containers rather than attached to missiles. And the bombs burn the chemical

Having watched all seasons of 24 I think I'm right

They burn as its storage facilities, so the chemical agent is in cannisters

I do recall reading that once tbh, not sure if its different for different chemicals though

The short answer is that you cannot effectively destroy most chemical weapons by bombing, including the type alleged to be in Syria. It will create a long term no go zone, as a good percentage, a minimum of 1/5th of the chemicals would be released into the area. There's quite a process to decomission such weapons, and it requires very controlled incineration.

As the military know this better than most, and the UN support the bombing, it means either the chemicals were removed, or much more likely, they were never there in the first place and they were strategic targets with (probably very loose) connections to chemical weapon production.

It's no coincidence that it was announced days ago, and the Russian/Syrian alliance were in position to take out those wanting to take advantage of the cover given.

It doesnt matter what studies may suggest?

A refugee is a specific case of someone fleeing war or persecution .

The law States that to be considered an actual refugee you must find sanctuary at the first safe country .
Which for Syrians would probably be Turkey.

If they then decide to pay human traffickers to take them to a more desirable destination then they are no longer refugees.

It doesn't matter what I think about it or what they claim to know , the rules are very clearly set up.

If they chose to travel through many safe European countries and camp in France with the intention of sneaking in to the UK they are just criminals and illegal immigrants the same as anyone else that would like to live here.

You don't understand so we'll just leave it there these circular arguments are mind numbing.

So why are you replying to me?
It sums you up. Another preacher who thinks he knows it all and cries when he's corrected. Very childish.
Time to ignore your gibberish, I guess.

NSIS - was just wondering your view in all this as a staunch baton waving lunatic. I would assume from your luxury abode in Spain, you support your near neighbours France, and your beloved country England, siding with the US in bombing Syria. Obviously I'm not sure if any of these actions were sanctioned by Madrid first, so i could probably understand you alternatively sitting on the fence <whistle>

I don't think Scotland took any part in the bombings, they've not yet taught monkey's to fly planes <ok>

I support the bombing of their chemical weapons facilities, if that’s what was targeted. If it inhibits or deters Syria’s future use of them on their own people, good!

As for Madrid’s view of all this, I suggest you ask them.
