I think what you will find is that the underdogs will always want to put on a show in front of the cameras. There are various reasons for that which I'm sure you can all summise. Average players find that extra 10% to perform. I think Saints go out to play every game the same way so we get a little stunned by teams that are suddenly fighting to win the game, winning second balls and getting in our face. No one wants to get trounced in a live game. I remember watching an interview with Barry Fry and he said his players would always get up for the cameras and his chairman would knock on the changing room before the game to make sure they put on a good show. For those that remember the 90's, our very own Mr Le Tissier used to score a cracker every time the cameras turned up. Granted he scored a lot of crackers but he even admitted he would shoot from 40 yards knowing his brothers were watching on tv. I don't believe in the tv curse one bit, but I do believe that more effort is put in by the oppo and I am very wary of the fact that whoever is fit enough to play for Coventry will want to impress. We have the quality, let that shine through. Let's just be thankful were in a promotion battle and not a relegation battle.
