The only chance of that happening is if he changes profession...

It's a shame that Brucie isn't getting the Jose treatment from some of our fans that Jose got from the Chelsea fans.

Good to see them calling out some of their supposed star players for basically being a bunch of ****s.

You often accuse those with a different opinion to yours as being 'anti-Allam-obsessed' or 'anti-Bruce obsessed', you can have an opinion without being obsessed with anything.

There is no 'lunatic fringe', there's just a lot of posters who are not happy with the way things are going currently, particularly as we were also very poor last season and that was primarily as a result of the negative approach of the manager. Despite this, there were a great many City fans who were happy for Bruce to stay on after relegation and be given the chance to take us back up, I was one of them.

As this season progresses, Bruce is gradually losing more and more of those fans.

In the first half on Saturday, there were the usual 'Steve Bruce' chants, but mid way through the second half some lads at the back tried to start a Bruce chant again and loads in front of them turned round and told them to **** off. I've not seen this happen before, but I expect to see more of it if things don't change pretty quickly.

There are certainly anti-Allam and anti-Bruce obsessed posters on this Forum - and an insignificant minority who have purportedly taken actions as a result of their obsession. That being said, I agree with some of what you day about Bruce and things do need to improve. However, I don't recall many calling for him to go after we'd thrashed Middlesbrough just a few games ago & sat at the top of the table. Supporting any team - and especially Hull City - is a rollercoaster and it will only take a couple of good results and performances for the bandwagon to be rolling the other way.

There are some who are a little obsessed, but not many, my point was that you make the accusation too often and inaccurately.

I take on board your other points, but I disagree, I think it's gone on too long now. I'm not sure he's capable of turning it around anyway, he certainly hasn't in the past four games.

Mourinho deserved to go, even though he had players working against him. Bruce deserved to go at the end of last season, as this lack of ideas was always inevitable. This squad should be repeating that five game run week in, week out, but a 0-2 loss to Rochdale really does signal what we are more likely to get.

Rotherham played Saturday like a cup tie, they wanted it more from the first minute.
some of our players think they are too good for this league can play at 50% and be good enough, when truth is they are barely good enough at 100%.
Bruce needs to identify these and get them out, I missed the Bolton game but after Leeds he threatened mass changes, and how many did he actually make?

6 games played since the International break and a few of the bed wetter's, hissy fitters and wums(forget chief wum Hattie) thinking the worst.
W2 D1 L3 is hardly time for panic. Sadly modern day football fans look and think very short term indeed.

What December way do though is alter / change / amend what business is done in January. With £120m at stake in the summer those players who don't want to play for us anymore can go but who would take them anyway on current form.?

    3 years ago we had 41 points from 22 games - W13 D2 L7. Now we have 41 points from 22 games - W12 D5 L5. Hardly time to panic.

btw, January 2013 was dire for us with just one point from 3 games after a good period in December 2012.

Dawson to come back - Snodgrass not yet fully ready as is Diomande. Nowhere near as bad as some would have you think.

As for Chelsea's players they are are disgrace. Manchester Utd's could also be now doing a Chelsea. If so they are also a disgrace.

It is time this player power was crushed. Otherwise why bother to have a manager / head coach. ? Just let the mob rule. <ok>

Too a point I agree. However IF Akpom had done what he should have done we would have won the game. 3 sitters all missed angered me more than anything else in the game.

SADLY ^^^^^^ THIS COULD WELL BE THE ISSUE. Since the international break................

    1) Bristol City away-drew..........in no real danger of going behind and then within 5 mins of Dawson going off injured we conceded a soft goal but get away with a draw . Maloney scores with a good finish.

    2) Derby home-lost.......... 2 bad mistakes (No Dawson) costs us 2 goals and Maloney missed 2 simple chances.

    3) Leeds away-lost.......... No Dawson again and the first half was as bad as it has been since Charlton away. 2nd half too little too late,.

    4) Reading home-won........ We get a way with it,,, again without Dawson.

    5) Rotherham away-lost...... 2 more bad defensive errors - again No Dawson - but Akpom also proves costly with 3 bad misses.

Almost every goal conceded without Michael Dawson in the defence has been from mistakes. It is looking like without Dawson to organise, kick backsides and marshal the troops on the field it is a mental thing. <ok>

Actually, we were lucky get a win at Brentford. We were appalling in the first half, They should have had a penalty, they hit the post afterr we scored. Come to think of it, those that are going on about Akpoms misses on Saturday are cancelled out by Brentofrd and Bolton.

If the players really think they can win at 50%, wouldn't they realise they're wrong after a game or two and start trying harder? Sorry but the effort argument doesn't make sense. Why would a footballer not want to win even if they want to leave. They're not turning up to games and not trying. If they were it'd be obvious. You can see their desperation when going forward cos they know the same as we do that the team just isn't an attacking threat.

I stick by what I've said on other threads - our hopes of automatic promotion or even promotion via the play offs rest firmly on Dawson remaining fit once he returns

Could not agree more. Steve Bruce is not the problem the players are. Well some of them. If they don't want to play for us then Bruce has to act in January and move them on IF anyone will take them that is.

My anger on Saturday was aimed at Chuba Akpom for missing chances a blind man could have put away.

We rode our luck out in the first half @ Brentford yes You need some luck in all games. Howeve Dawson also had us organised.
