Got over a couple of weeks before christmas so it was all just novel and weird. This xmas will be really strange though now that I'm settled. My old man is making the trip to have a bit of a look at the country for three months though which should add a little normality to it.

Yeah but he's always fancied Aus and won't be up to it forever so making the most of it while he can!

Yeah, sitting in the garden eating a roast with bits and pieces of the barbecue felt a bit ****ing odd to say the least.

Why does Washington have a NE postcode and not a SR code?

KY2, 78230, MK5 and finally YO32. Those were the post codes where I grew up! Although the last one was the one I've spent the longest in!

Yeah I'm not a Sunderland fan but I've been to a few games <laugh>

Post codes allocated based on royal mail sorting office used for the area - Washington use newcastle .
A fanatic dark sided mate at work was right miffed living at Murton with an SR p code - never let him forget that :1980_boogie_down:

KY is Kirkcaldy in Fife. It's where I was born. The one with the numbers is a suburb of Paris.

MK is indeed Milton Keynes. Only spent 6 months there though before moving up north.

Yip! A very grim part of Fife stuck between St Andrews and Edinburgh. Haven't been back since we left although I keep meaning to.

I've missed a couple off, there was SO18 for uni and my recent excursion down in OX2. I really need to settle down!
