Yes Eire the fact that we wouldn't be able to compete in the CL if PSG had also qualified is exactly my concern/point. We would be reduced to being an inferior club for as long as dual ownership existed and for that reason and that reason alone any approach from QSI must be resisted at all costs. If for instance someone suggested investment from owners of another PL club (of over 10%) which would disqualify us from competing in the same division as them (the PL) then everyone would be marching on ER to tear Radz limb from limb. The fact that the CL is unobtainable to us at present is irrelevant in my opinion as the same principles apply.
Plenty of articles saying Radz doesn't want to sell a stake in Leeds. That's not to say he won't change his mind.
NO is the short answer , anything can happen if PSG owners buy or take a investment in leeds , they could sell their stake in PSG and buy leeds utd outright i am not against a billionaire buying our club , dont think man city supporters are thinking , ....oh i wish we had not been bought after the last 4-5 years of winning do you ?
This story came about because of the usual lazy journalism. The fact that Radz was photoed with the guy months ago and and an old story where the QIs were looking to invest in a football club. The journo has had a huge bollocking from various people within the media and football. There was an approach about discussing investing some cash but refused and as far as we are concerned this is a non story. Radz has talks with all sorts of business contacts and from time to time someone will ask about putting cash in but always refused...... If these people wanted in they would get in because they have the cash to force a way in and could even buy 49ers shares as that is from their investment arm and they would get a nice profit by selling.
