Don't think he was ever offered a "Here's £300 million. Give us the keys" type of offer. From the information that got out, the offers had a lot of conditions

I don't think you can put in an offer of £300m without conditions tbh as the club will not be worth that if we are relegated this year which looks likely at present. Only himself to blame as his mismanagement of the club has made relegation a likelihood so he should accept £200m up front with £100m withheld until the club is safe from relegation (and or other clauses to be met).

All his own doing but he'll sit it out in the hope there is a nutter out there willing to throw caution to the wind but I doubt any sensible investor would look at the club at present and see it as anything other than a relegation candidate this season and therefore wouldn't offer the asking price in full/upfront.

He could have in the summer got £300m upfront no conditions but he's left it to late after holding out for £400m over the summer and not getting a sniff as he's grossly overestimated the clubs worth. £300m now is still to much to pay upfront as he ****ed up again in the summer. If he'd invested say £50m in transfers and we'd had a good start to the season and beaten Cardiff and had another 4 points on the board someone might have seen the value in it and offered say £350-380m.

Neither did I just saying that if he wasn't asking for £400m over summer someone may have looked at it and thought it was worth the risk at £300m, but because he's a greedy fat **** I don't think he had any interest over the summer hence the sudden drop of 25% of the asking price among other reasons like our bad start to the season, protests, SD shares sliding, purchase of HOF (which again seems like a rushed purchase where he hasn't looked at the whole thing and got himself into trouble with customers re their gift cards, delivery firms re non payment and landlords re rent).

It is because he likes a gamble. To him, these decisions and the ones he makes with us are pure punts.
