that is the line up (mid and attackers) facing smaller sides .. what is wrong with it ..? it has a CM/DMC and AM and 2 wingers and 2 strikers? typical 442 formation !! against stronger sides, we can still play the same combination, but I think Mata may play instead of Valencia if we wanted to have a 2nd CM

not really, both januzaj and valencia trace back, and same apply for rooney .. and we know carrick already is operating at the back comn man, we used to play scholes, with same formation and type of players and we know how much he was bad defending and we win titles one after another
we had scholes/ carrick combination and we know how crap shcoles was defensively making a tackle .. guess we struggled too at that time and we had CR too who never traced back
