6 PL games without Gerrard, 6 wins.
Gerrard injured, best form team in the league and unbeaten since December.

Pundits and 'experts' can rave all they want about him still being our best player, but the stats alone speak volumes - never mind when you actually watch our team play. He might grab set pieces, but we're simply better right now without him. Naturally, he'll play in the final if we get there and I really hope it doesn't come back to bite Rodgers in the arse.

Not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but I agree
    Just like with Johnson tbh...

We were a better team when he came on last night.

Not necessarily because it was Gerrard though, I would argue, but because our shape changed when the LWB came off for a DM. Gerrard actually did very little.

Yeah he did little but it allowed Hendo push forward which ultimately got us the goal.

Whether that was down to Gerrard directly or not, but I prefer to put it down to the manager for making that tactical change.

Agree with everything else - we're a better team without him and have been for the past 3-4 years.

Still find it astonishing how 'pundits' still rate the likes of Gerrard and Johnson. Clearly don't watch our games.

And I joked about hoping we had injuries to certain members of the team but in all honesty, it was the only way that these two players (plus Lovren as well) would not play ahead of better players.
