We should buy him, then swap him for Rose.

    Double bubble.

Soz' tash but that's bullshit! The only way we were going to get anything was by attacking football, well you attacked and got NOTHING! So that arguement doesn't work. How do you know you couldn't have won playing another way. We beat Man City and we didn't play all out attack.

To be fair to Villa they could argue the last 3 games have given them that mantle, doesn't matter the fact is they have it. You have lost 9 in the last 11. You desperately need Taylor back, how long is he out for? Tash shipping goals is a massive concern and can lead to relegation. I don't think for one minute you'll be relegated either. Your argument for very attacking football though is flawed!

To be fair, Villa were in a good run pre-Chelsea.

A tonking can have a real bad effect in the short term, and 3 or 4 bad results in a row becomes a rut.

Yep they'd just beaten Liverpool away from home, comes as a warning to us all, I'm guessing the Villa fans were expectinga canny christmas after that result and no doubt they are now calling for the masnagers head.

A point for us today would have been nice to keep the score board ticking over. Liverpool for us next too, love to beat them fekkers!

I don't fear Liverpool at all Tony.

City, United & Spurs are all on a different level and we've won one, and been competitive other 2.

We can get a result down there, no question.

Definitley, Who knows which Liverpool will turn up. If we keep playing like we have been then we should have no problems. My only worry is our players will be knackered, Marty needs to rotate a bit but we don't have the players to do it.

O'shea looks like he will be out for a while leaving us very thin at the back. At least Rose is back. massive miss for us today. He could have stopped Lennon. That's the annoying thing.

Think a CB is a cert for January, and hopefully early doors, MON will know who he wants.

Rose missing today will be a blessing, he's rested, and in fairness Lennon was unplayable today.

Spurs massively impressed me, and I know they weren't at their best.

They stop selling, they can get up with the top 3 IMO.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing. If we had have won, everyone would have gone on about how leaving ourselves exposed to give us that extra attacking edge was a good plan. But because we lost, everyone is saying it was a bad idea and we should have played a different style.

Pardew obviously thought that in two of the toughest fixtures, we didn't have the resources to try and sit back a bit more, and with the players we have out, an all attacking approach was the only way we'd get anything from the games. Sitting back vs United and Arsenal is what a lot of sides do, to no avail.

My arguments are not flawed, it's just some people are too inept to acknowledge the points I'm trying to make. I'm getting tired of having to make these comments trying to explain these things so people can understand them.

I'm going now. All I'm going to say is people need to think for longer than 2 seconds before forming opinions. It's too easy to look at situations like this and put it down to poor defending or w/e. That was partly the reason, but the situation is far more complex than that, and it leads to knee jerk reactions.

I'm not saying this is exclusive to any set of supportive, I'm pissed off with many of our own fans right now, and I really can't be arsed to try and lay my arguments out anymore, because it's tiresome.

Agree, Spurs for me had much more of a cutting edge than City. Sandro in the middle ran the show. We jus couldn't get a grip of the middle. It was an entertaining game and one we could have got something from but for a daft 3 minutes.

Agreed Tony, they were better than City by a distance, and both goals were cheap, sadly.

I guess they'd have scored at some point in reality though, would have been tough to hang on, although Seb seems to have remembered how to cross, bodes well for the run in, he was hurting them every time today.

Tash because I disagree with you does not make me incapable of thought for **** sake. Clearly Pardews attacking plan backfired as it didn't work and clearly there is more than one way to skin a cat. You are talking absolute bollocks and your defence of Newcastle United is as bad as erm Newcastle's defence.
