guess you were referring to Shirt #. I would think Oscar would love to get #10 shirt. Remember when he joined he was saying something like 'already wearing Brazil's 10' - so no big deal if he doesn't wear Chelsea's.
From the press conference on now it seems from what Jose is saying is that Chelsea wouldn't block Mata's move due to the good relationship the club had with him and that the bottom line is Chelsea will make a huge amount of profit. For Mata the World Cup must be key to his thinking and needing to play each week. For Chelsea to let such a great player go to a traditional rival shows that at Chelsea at least there is still a small bit of humanity in the business which football has become. There is no question that Mata was loyal to us, but this is his career not his hobby. As for us we have Thogan and Moses et al..........
Initially he played mostly on the left but he's been playing more centrally recently. There isn't a question to me that he is the biggest talent we have out on loan, Courtois included. He is going to be an absolute star.
I'm sure I've seen people say we can include him as part of a deal to sign other players - utter madness. This kid is better than most Premier League goalkeepers. Absolutely pivotal to hold on to him.
http://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation....anchester-united-transfer-fan-reaction-shirt? How Chelsea fans deal with old shirts. Unlike Lafferpool and Arsenal we don't burn them.
wow really? Youre the ones forcing Mata out the door, it's not Mata forcing the move you plonker , why would you burn his shirt when he's done nothing wrong? Why not compare Mata leaving to Dirk Kuyt Leaving? or even the way we gracefully let Xavi Alonso Leave? That tranny Torres forced his way out 2 days before the window was due to close, hardly comparable
