Should be mentioned that Flanagan and Henderson had a great natural understanding on the right. They combined better than ever, which bolstered Hendo's game especially.

As Gerrez has trademarked it, it is a question of partnership cogs. Today we added a new one: Flano-Hendo. In attack we are full of them, we need more behind it.

I love the optimism but Cafu is one of the best RB's of all time! <laugh>

Big hope for the lad and he seems to be coming good but Cafu has what 2 world cups, **** ton of CL, league, UEFA cup, etc. Flanno has a long long way to go!

    Flaninho. <ok>

Considering that the lad hasn't even had a full season into which to develop that is more than just slightly unfair MITO

I'll admit it, I never wanted Flanno anywhere near the first team..
But ever since the away Derby fixture, I don't think he's put a foot wrong.
Yes he's limited technically but I have seen signs of improvement in that department of late, the more he plays with the first XI, the more he trains (he's still a young lad), the better he'll get.
No coincidence that defensively we've been better since he's been back into the team.
He's certainly more than a capable backup to the RB position, who know's, he keeps improving his all-round game, he could be a permanent fixture in the team.
